Me, MySelf and I

My Name FULL name is Temiloluwa Oshomoshi-Ofuje Coker. I've been Graced with the Gift of Music and Photography(pretty much a Love for Art & Artistic  Minded). The picture above describes the intersection where these 2 talents of mine meet. It deep meaning. It portrays me in 3 forms. I give credit to God for being the first person to be 3 in 1!!; God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy spirit. I can't compare myself to God but the picture above shows 3 sides of me. I was going through my closet and realized that i'm really a fashion geek.
Starting from the Left, "The Gentleman": I love to dress-up.. I even overdress sometimes..but thats just me. I would rather overdress than underdress. I dress up to class wearing a Bowtie, Suit, Loafers, Button Ups..you name it. I believe that in this century, peoples first impression of you counts. You are judged by what you wear. Rarely do i see many african american men my age or even older dress up. I like to stand out and i believe the way i dress and carry myself sets me apart from a lot of other people.
The middle image(which i call "The Farmer") i would say represent the chill & patient side of me. I love to hang out with my friends, support them, and just be there for them whenever they need it. Plant the seed of the Gospel to any and everyone that i can. I believe in GOD. He's the reason i Live, Breathe and Move!! Someone planted the seed of salvation in me and God did the watering and he wants me to do the same thing to other. People need the GOSPEL!. Ive been graced with the opportunity to preach the THE REAL GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST that changed my life at my church July 22nd (hit me up if you're interested in coming)! I feel like we all have heard THE WATERED DOWN GOSPEL.. But yeah..I don't like arguments or being in the middle of one.. I'm just a guy that likes peace i guess lol.
Last image on the picture which i call "The Musician" is the artsy side of me. I have been a musician since i was 10 years old. I play by ear and people ask "How did you learn?" honestly, somedays i just sat on the keyboard and said "God, Teach me something.. a Chord.. A "lick"..Something" and i would stumble on a chord by accident lol.. I never took music seriously till probably my freshman year in college. I went to play the keys at a church "GOOD HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH" in houston and i was playing with 13 year old kids who were BEASTS! i felt like i knew nothing about the keys when i heard them play lol! but that inspired me to really work on my craft.. Sometimes i compare myself with other musicians but like my pastor said..."don't maximize others talent because you begin to minimize yours." I have a long way to Go as a musician but the path i'm taking to further my skills for the Kingdom of God has been a blessing in my life. Not only am i being taught how to play better, but i am realizing that being a musician in the church is a very important Job because you HELP FACILITATE WORSHIP. When you're on that stage playing, remember its not about you but about JESUS. Don't try and get any attention by playing wicked chords. There's always a right time to do it!. Just be sensitive to the atmosphere. If you're interested to listen to the music i create, please visit this link: http://soundcloud.com/young_temi I'm signed with a team called "LEGACY" they've thought me what i know now! be on the look out for us! especially in the Gospel Hip-hop music!!.
